David learned the ropes of real estate working alongside his stepmother, broker Lisa Shapir, prior to becoming licensed. He is excited to now be working with her at Town as an agent, bringing the seasoned expertise and marketing strategies he honed to his own clients. Highly personable, trustworthy and reliable, David has a natural way of relating to people and reading their unique needs. Through hard work and personal service, he develops a genuine bond with and understanding of every client, which is an invaluable component in helping them make one of the largest decisions in their lives.

Originally from West Hills, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, David spent most of his life living and commuting between Los Angeles and the New York metro area. Living in such distinctly different locations and lifestyles has given him a unique lens to view Manhattan. David, who resides in Edgewater, NJ just outside the city, is also a licensed real estate salesperson in New Jersey.

Prior to working in real estate, David was in the hospitality industry, which explains his welcoming nature, communicative manner, and the commitment he puts forth on his client’s behalf. He is presently a business student at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business. In free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family on both coasts. David has eight brothers and sisters, and maintaining a healthy relationship with them is very important to him. David also belongs to a number of trade, brokerage, and networking organizations. He is interested in business and the economy, plus is a huge sports fan who also plays a variety of sports.
