Equally valuable is his extensive expertise in the industry, having worked for over 15 years on real estate and economic development projects throughout New York City for public, not-for-profit and private organizations like NYC Economic Development Corp and Vornado Realty Trust.

Passionate about New York City and its diverse urban environment, Demetri has been involved in everything from small multi-family deals to organizing teams for the development of a million-square-foot-plus mixed-use development. "My experience in developing and designing urban spaces coupled with my urban planning background, and years managing buildings where people either live, work or play gives me a distinct edge and insightfulness I pass on to benefit my clients."

Born in New York but raised in Colorado, Demetri is graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder. He returned to NYC in 1992 to complete his M.S. in Urban Planning at Columbia University and never left again. In addition to holding his New York real estate license, Demetri is a Member of the Urban Land Institute, a LEED-AP with experience creating sustainable real estate, a Certified Planner with the American Institute of Certified Planners, and a member of REBNY.

Demetri and his wife reside in TriBeCa with their two young children. He especially enjoys finding homes for families, lending his strong knowledge of neighborhoods and schools in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens to parents raising children in the city. In his community, Demetri serves on non-profit boards focused on urban forestry downtown, and providing affordable housing in Harlem. He also sits on the Manhattan School Board No.2, which encompasses Lower Manhattan, West Village, Chelsea, Clinton, Midtown East, and the Upper East Side.
