For nearly two decades, Karen has capitalized on opportunity in the real estate market, personally with her own multi-state investments, and professionally by helping clients achieve their goals. Today she draws on her knowledge and experience as Town’s liaison in a strategic partnership with Cooper Square Realty, New York City’s largest residential property management company. In her corporate role coordinating the entire project, Karen is responsible for overseeing and managing the relationships within the partnership, bringing added value to more than 50 portfolio buildings. Karen's expert ability to organize, build teams and communicate effectively comes not only from her extensive career in real estate, but from her impressive entrepreneurial background and successful business track record of spearheading and managing projects. In her professional tenure, she has demonstrated exceptional skill in various capacities which include founding and operating an SEC EDGAR filing company for public corporations, and building and running a successful real estate title insurance company.Personally, she has invested in and managed several successful real estate properties in multiple states. From identification to leveraged financing, through coordination of improvements with multiple contractors and multi-property management with tenants in place, Karen’s ability to manage multi-faceted projects with hard deadlines and strict budget constraints led to success in each of these ventures ultimately through profitable sale.



Originally from Zimbabwe, Karen resided in several countries in Africa and attended boarding school in England. After living in London for a time she moved to South Florida where she attended college.



Outside of work, Karen serves on the board of her condominium and manages her real estate investments. For fun she enjoys traveling, entertaining, and active memberships in the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, the Bedford Barrow Commerce Block Association, and the Porsche Club of America.
