With attentive hands-on guidance, Gary shows buyers first-hand what's out there on the market and within their means in a home and neighborhood that fits them. He listens carefully to their needs, knowing every person is unique, plus asks the right questions to quickly identify wish-list priorities. And when it comes to learning, not only is Gary continually on top of the market; he is readily available to educate clients on every aspect of their purchase or sale to ensure the smartest moves.
From selling newspapers as a boy to selling and buying media after college, to selling advertising and now real estate, Gary has always loved sales which he's done all his life. He's also a passionate, longtime investor in property, so found a natural transition to a career he truly loves. Having owned properties in New York City, East Hampton and Belmar, NJ, Gary understands the balance between seeking value, and finding a home you love. He also knows how important it is to enjoy the real estate process, so takes pride in both being your consultant, and making you laugh as well.
Gary grew up in Montclair and Metuchen, NJ, and has resided in Manhattan for many years. He lived in Chelsea at the London Terrace co-ops for a decade before moving to a high-rise in Hell's Kitchen. Prior to entering real estate, Gary spent 18 years as a publisher and partner of HX Magazine, part of HX Media, a leader in the gay and lesbian NYC community, then was a multi-media salesperson for The Village Voice. He also worked various freelance positions selling The Daily Front Row for fashion weeks in NYC and the independent film website festivaloffilms.com. He is also currently NYC Project Director for Meridian Printing.
Gary holds a BA degree in Communications and Business from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. He also studied acting at HB Studios in NYC.
