Originally from Bavaria, Germany, Yasmine has lived in various Manhattan neighborhoods from 5th Avenue to Soho to Murray Hill, the Village and the Upper West Side. She is now happily settled in the Clinton/Hell's Kitchen area with her husband Georges, a Frenchman, who owns Café Un Deux Trois, a theater district classic for 35 years. Yasmine speaks fluent German, French and English, and enjoyed successful prior careers in modeling and retail as owner of the trend-setting children's clothing boutique, Bebe Thompson. She attended Benares Hindu University in India where she studied Indian Miniature Painting, and completed her college experience at New York University with a Liberal Arts degree. Spare time finds Yasmine passionately competing in tournament-level bridge, riding horses, hiking, playing tennis and practicing yoga
